Loaned Executives

Welcome to United Way of Morris County's Loaned Executive Program, an investment opportunity with exceptional returns!

Investing and participating in the Loaned Executive Program is an excellent investment not only for the "loaned" executive, but also for your company, for United Way of Morris County, and, most importantly, for the entire Morris County community.

This investment is a commitment to building a stronger community by uniting individuals and institutions to create long-term sustainable solutions to issues that affect us all. By donating the time and talent of your workforce, you are demonstrating your commitment to the community where your business is located.

What Is the Loaned Executive Program?

Each year, local businesses, dedicated to making a difference in Morris County "loan" a corporate executive to United Way of Morris County to assist with varied tasks appropriate to the loaned executives skills and interests.

Benefits to the Loaned Executive's Employer

The Loaned Executive Program allows companies to invest in their employee's growth while investing in the well-being of the community. Donating the time of their employees is a wonderful gift to the community that will repay itself many times over. Below are a just a few examples of the benefits that increase the value of their investment.

Participants in the Loaned Executive Program are one of United Way of Morris County's greatest resources, especially during the fall when many local companies run their annual employee giving campaign. Loaned Executives assist in maximizing resources while minimizing overhead costs. They also serve in the following capacities.

  • Raise awareness of United Way of Morris County and pressing community issues.
  • Engage colleagues in a dialogue about volunteerism, community issues.
  • Make a personal difference in the community in which they live and work.
  • Develop and implement employee giving campaigns by working with top management and employee campaign coordinators.

Your Donation at Work

$25 provides a frail senior in-home chore assistance.

$50 sends one local middle school student to the Youth Empowerment Alliance’s Youth Summit Day.

$100 provides children with disabilities a safe trick-or-treating experience.

$500 professionally trains 10 mentors, preparing them to mentor youth, care partners, and persons in need of financial mentoring.

$1,000 assists a local community in completing a needs assessment to identify and solve key issues facing its residents.
