Corporate Volunteer Projects

Days of Caring

"Days of Caring" are an exciting opportunity for corporations in Morris County to get acquainted and connected with local health and human services agencies.

We will match groups of volunteers with agencies whose activities best fit the group's skills, interests, and geographical needs. Working on a project in the community:

  • Gives employees and groups the chance to visit some of the agencies they support through their annual giving campaign.
  • Raises awareness of critical issues facing our communities.
  • Allows them to see, first-hand, the impact they are making in the community.
  • Provides the opportunity for team building by giving employees the chance to work together in a different and meaningful way.

Why get involved in a Day of Caring?

Participating in a Day of Caring project promotes on-going engagement between Morris County corporations and non-profit agencies. For the health of the community as a whole, volunteers are an invaluable resource. For many agencies, volunteers are the only means to accomplishing much-needed repairs.

Days of Caring projects include simple repairs, landscaping, spring-cleaning, painting, on-site parties for clients, and interaction with children and the elderly.

For information on Days of Caring or to organize a project for your company, email Doris Thomas, or call 973.993.1160, x111.
