Golf Event Committee

The annual United Way of Morris County Golf Event is held to promote philanthropy in the community, raise funds for United Way of Morris County, and increase awareness of United Way of Morris County's programs and role as a community builder.

Please join the Golf Committee if you would like to help:

  • market the Golf event;
  • secure Golf event sponsors;
  • raise awareness of the work being done at United Way of Morris County;
  • increase visibility for United Way of Morris County and participating programs;
  • increase interest in philanthropic endeavors by participating individuals/companies.

Benefits to the committee members include:

  • Increased visibility for committee member's company.
  • New business contacts for committee members.
  • Increased knowledge of community issues.
  • Provides successful individuals with opportunity to give back.

$25 provides a frail senior in-home chore assistance.

$50 sends one local middle school student to the Youth Empowerment Alliance’s Youth Summit Day.

$100 provides children with disabilities a safe trick-or-treating experience.

$500 professionally trains 10 mentors, preparing them to mentor youth, care partners, and persons in need of financial mentoring.

$1,000 assists a local community in completing a needs assessment to identify and solve key issues facing its residents.
