Housing Alliance

Projects

The Housing Alliance hosts several events throughout the year to support its efforts to spread the word about affordable housing challenges and advocate for affordable housing solutions in Morris County.

Affordable Housing Showcase Bus Tour

The Housing Alliance kicks off the summer with its annual Affordable Housing Showcase Bus Tour. Local public officials, community developers, and community members board the bus to visit different affordable housing projects in Morris County. The bus tour highlights the collaborative efforts and innovative funding methods used to make affordable housing projects possible, and demonstrates the positive contributions that affordable housing can provide to our communities.

Heroes for Affordable Housing Celebration

Every October, the Housing Alliance hosts an Affordable Housing Celebration in honor of Affordable Housing month. The celebration highlights the good work being done throughout Morris County to raise awareness of the need to create and advocate for affordable housing solutions. During this special event, the Alliance recognizes men, women, and organizations who have demonstrated a commitment to providing and advocating for the development of affordable housing in our communities with the Heroes for Affordable Housing award.
