Local Teens Help Create Safe Environment for Trick or Treaters
October 25, 2005 – Morristown, NJ – Local high school students involved with United Way of Morris County's Youth Leadership and Service Council will participate in the 15th Annual "Trick or Suites" event on Friday October 28, 2005, sponsored by Embassy Suites Hotel. "Trick or Suites" provides children of the P.G. Chambers School, a United Way partner, with a safe and handicap-accessible environment to enjoy trick or treating.
Over 100 children from P.G. Chambers School participated in last year's event. Each year, local companies decorate suites and hand out treats, making Halloween a memorable and happy one for some children who might otherwise be unable to enjoy the holiday. Last year's suites were decorated in a variety of themes, including "The 1950's," "Sponge Bob," and "Pirates of the Caribbean."
This year, six United Way Youth Leadership and Service Council Members will be responsible for decorating a suite, handing out candy, and spending time with P.G. Chambers students. "Trick or Suites" will be held on Friday, October 28, 2005 from 11:30am to 2:30pm at the Embassy Suites Hotel. located at 909 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, NJ.
