Atlantic Health System Wins Impact Award

April 7, 2006 – Basking Ridge, NJ – On Friday, April 7, 2006, United Way of Morris County's Commercial Real Estate Network awarded its Impact Award to Atlantic Health System.  The annual award recognizes a property, sale, lease, or other real estate transaction that has had the most positive impact in the Morris County community during the past year.

Atlantic Health System was recognized for a 210,000 square foot lease at 475 South Street in Morristown for executive offices and administration uses.  The property was leased from National Business Parks, Inc. and Atlantic Health System was represented by CB Richard Ellis and Welsh Chester Galiney Matone Inc.

Other Impact Award finalists included Dendreon and Time Inc.

The Impact Award was presented at the Commercial Real Estate Network's annual fundraising luncheon at the North Maple Inn in Basking Ridge.  Over 370 industry professionals attended the event, which raises funds to help local non-profits complete critical capital improvements during the coming year.

In the six years since its inception, the Network has raised over $676,000 and funded over 45 capital projects at United Way member agencies throughout the county.

Major sponsors of the event included Jones Lang LaSalle and Turner Construction, as well as Atlantic Health System, Drinker Biddle & Reath, The Gale Company, and Gensler Architecture, Design and Planning Worldwide.
