Congressman Frelinghuysen, N.J. Senator Baroni, and Freeholder Murphy to Address United Way's Public Officials Forum
Key Elected Officials, Corporate Leaders, and Community Members Will Gather

February 1, 2008 – Madison, NJ – The Public Officials Forum is an annual event hosted by United Way of Morris County which brings public officials, corporate leaders, and key community members together to meet one another in an informal setting, make connections, share news, and lay the groundwork for generating solutions to shared contemporary community issues.

This year, the Forum is raising awareness of newly uncovered findings from a Young Teen Survey which exposes some critical challenges facing the youngest teens of Morris County.  Today’s middle school aged children are forced to deal with tough issues earlier than ever before, with children as young as 11 years confronted with pressures to drink, take drugs, have sex, and bully others.

John Franklin
