Volunteers Strut Their Stuff to Help United Way of Morris County
United Way of Morris County and The Shoppes at Union Hill host fourth annual fall fashion show in Denville
August 20, 2007 – Denville, NJ – A crowd of over 300 attendees came out to cheer on local community volunteers and friends who walked the catwalk for United Way of Morris County at the organization's fourth annual Fall Fashion Show at The Shoppes at Union Hill on Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Volunteers modeled the latest fall fashions and accessories from retailers at The Shoppes.
Mizar Turdiu, commercial actor, served as the emcee for the event, while The FrostKings Band, a four-piece R&B, swing, and blues band originating from the North Jersey area, provided the upbeat entertainment. The event also featured food and drink provided by Starbucks, Panera Bread, and Bensi, as well as raffles with prizes donated by local companies, organizations, and individuals.
All proceeds from the event benefit Helping Children Succeed programs and initiatives at United Way, which provide children of all ages with the support they need to succeed in childhood, adolescence, and beyond.
