Bridge Marina Holds Final Fuel Dock Fundraiser for United Way
Family-owned business finds unique way to support community
 September 6, 2006 – Lake Hopatcong, NJ – The Fernandez Family, which owns and operates Bridge Marina on Lake Hopatcong, found a unique way to support the local community this holiday weekend. Despite the rising cost of fuel, Bridge Marina donated five cents of every gallon of gas that was purchased from September 1 through September 4, 2006 to United Way of Morris County.
This is the third fuel dock fundraiser organized by Bridge Marina this year; the local small business held similar events for United Way earlier this summer, including fundraisers over Memorial Day and Fourth of July holiday weekends. As a result, the marina has donated hundreds of dollars to United Way of Morris County this year.
