FirstEnergy Foundation Invests in Mentoring
October 11, 2006

First Energy GroupFirstEnergy Foundation generously supported United Way of Morris County’s Mentor Training and Consulting Center on October 11, 2006 with a $5,000 grant.  This grant will be used to support United Way’s mentoring program, which trains people from all walks of life to become volunteer mentors. Since the program’s inception in 1998, United Way has trained almost 1,600 mentors in the community.  FirstEnergy’s support ensures that United Way will be able to continue to offer this 12-hour course to Morris County residents free-of-charge.

United Way of Morris County gratefully acknowledges FirstEnergy Foundation for its support, and for recognizing that mentoring matters.  To find out how you can become involved in mentoring, email JoAnn Tsonton or call 973.993.1160, x120.
