Community Hope Joins Forces with United Way of Morris County
January 24, 2005
On January 24, 2005, United Way of Morris County approved Community Hope as a member agency, adding the organization to United Way's network of local community partners. Community Hope, a nonprofit agency that provides a supportive living environment for individuals recovering from serious mental illness, joins United Way in its efforts to build a stronger community by creating long-term, sustainable solutions.
In order to achieve United Way Member Agency status, Community Hope has undergone a thorough review by United Way volunteers and staff, including a careful examination of the agency's financial audit. John Franklin, chief executive officer of United Way of Morris County said, "United Way takes a proactive approach in selecting our partners. We are dedicated to ensuring that our donors' contributions are invested in programs and initiatives run by agencies that are financially and operationally sound. We are confident that Community Hope will help us achieve our community impact goals in Morris County in an effective, efficient manner." |
