Colgate Brightens Smiles, Brightens Futures

On February 28, 2006, Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program, a multi-tiered initiative to promote the importance of oral health through education and prevention, visited the students of Collinsville Child Care Center in Morristown.

The Bright Smiles, Bright Future program reaches millions of underserved children by using mobile dental vans staffed by volunteer dentists.

The Collinsville students were provided with free dental screenings by Dr. Huei-Jn Lin, a local dentist. After their dental screening, Ron Perez and John Van Duyne, executives at Colgate’s Morristown location, distributed multicultural educational materials on the importance of maintaining good oral health and Colgate toothbrushes to all the children.
