Shoppes at Union Hill Fashion Show
August 10, 2004

Fashion for a United Cause

On Tuesday, August 10, over 200 people came out to view the latest fall fashions, to enjoy a wonderful meal, and to help raise money for United Way of Morris County's Women Helping Women campaign. Mizar Turdiu, the former morning news anchor for News 12 New Jersey, was a hit as the event's emcee.

The Shoppes at Union Hill in Denville co-hosted the evening with United Way of Morris County. Mr. and Miss Denville graced the runway along with other enthusiastic community volunteer models, showing off the latest fashions from Gap, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor Loft, Jos. A. Bank, Talbotts, Chico's, Elizabeth, and Children's Place. Bensi catered the delicious dinner, while Starbucks and Panera Bread donated their tasty treats.

Grover Kemble, a multi-talented New Jersey guitarist, vocalist and jazz performer, entertained the crowd before the show and as the models walked down the runway. The Tricky Tray table was a huge success. Proceeds from the twenty-two items that were generously donated, will go toward the Women Helping Women campaign.
