Days of Caring is a program that matches groups of volunteers with agencies whose activities best fit the group's skills, interests, and geographic needs. Days of Caring affords employees and other groups the chance to visit the agencies to which they donate in addition to providing an opportunity for team building and community service.
Participating in a Day of Caring project not only gives corporations a hands-on opportunity to make a difference in their community, but also raises awareness of critical issues and promotes on-going engagement between Morris County corporations and non-profit agencies. For many agencies, volunteers are the only means to accomplishing much-needed repairs. For the health of the community as a whole, volunteers are an invaluable resource.
Days of Caring projects include simple repairs, landscaping, spring-cleaning, painting, on-site parties for clients, and interaction with children and the elderly.
