About Volunteering

How You Can Lend Your Time and Resources to Make a Difference in Morris County
Volunteers are the heart of United Way of Morris County. We engage a large network of hundreds of people from varied backgrounds and interests in all aspects of our work. We are committed to providing training for our volunteers and opportunities for them to effect positive change that will impact people's lives and build a better community. Our volunteer opportunities are as varied as your interests.

Our Work Includes:

Helping Children SucceedProviding kids of all ages with the support they need to succeed in childhood, adolescence, and beyond.

Fostering Self-SufficiencyAddressing the underlying causes of poverty and helping people attain independence.

Caring for Seniors and People with DisabilitiesProviding opportunities to live secure, independent, and meaningful lives.

Accessing HealthcareHelping people in need get access to quality health services.

The Youth Leadership and Service Council gives young adults in Morris County a fun way to volunteer their time, develop their leadership potential, and make new friendships. Our Women's Leadership Council brings together a dynamic group of community-minded women.

The Golf Committee organizes a golf outing for United Way each year, while our Commercial Real Estate Network Committee plans an annual event that brings professionals from the industry together to raise funds for capital improvement projects.
