Tips for Mentors
Are you visiting this site because you are wondering if you should become a mentor? Well, only you can make that decision. It is a very personal one, and should be considered carefully.
Our mentor training will help you. We don't ask for a commitment – on the contrary, our training is designed to teach you what mentoring is all about. We want you to get to know yourself better. No, not with a lot of psycho-babble, but by identifying your strengths, your values, your communication skills and looking at how people interact with each other based on diversity issues, all in a fun and friendly environment with like-minded students. Nothing heavy, just thought provoking.
If you decide mentoring is for you – great! If not, that is great also. We teach to that. Use the mentor training to help you make up your mind. No pressure, no commitment, just a lot of fun learning. Give it a try. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. No, really. You will see. Make the investment in yourself.
